Primecote Terracotta is a high-performance, water-based acrylic sealer primer specifically formulated for high-glaze and low-porosity terracotta roof tiles. It prepares difficult-to-bond terracotta surfaces by improving adhesion and sealing the tile surface prior to the application of Globalcote Restora, Elastacote or Infracote roof coating systems.
Primecote Terracotta is an essential preparation step where standard primers may not achieve adequate bonding, helping ensure long-term coating performance and durability.

Application Details;
Application Method: Brush, roller or airless spray
Number of Coats: 1–2
Touch Dry: 30 minutes
Recoat / Overcoat: After 2–4 hours
Coverage: Approx. 6–8 m² p/L (surface dependent)
Clean Up: Water
Thinner: Not recommended
Full Cure: 14 days

*Important Notes
Only suitable for terracotta roof tiles
Surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt, mould, lichen, and contaminants
Always perform a small test patch prior to full application
Where rainwater collection is used, allow 14 days curing and an initial rinse before reconnecting systems
