Clear Waterproof Coating Solution.

ACTFLEX 400 Clear is a single-component, transparent waterproof coating designed to seal leaks over existing surfaces without the need for removal. Ideal for tiled areas, it forms a flexible, UV-resistant membrane that protects against water ingress while maintaining the original look of the substrate.
With a semi-gloss clear finish, it’s a fast and effective solution for leaking showers, balconies and outdoor tiled areas — providing up to 5 years of protection when applied correctly.

Coverage:
Approx. 3m² per kg (depending on surface porosity)
3kg unit covers approx. 9m²
Typically applied in a 2–3 coat system

Drying & Cure Times:
Touch dry: approx. 1–2 hours
Recoat time: minimum 4 hours
Waterproof after: approx. 3 hours
Full cure: 3–5 days
(Times based on 25°C / 50% RH and may vary)

Surface Preparation:
Ensure surface is clean, dry and sound
Remove grease, dirt, mould and loose material
Repair cracks, grout lines and damaged tiles
Treat mould with diluted bleach solution and rinse thoroughly
Allow surface to fully dry (moisture content below 4%)

Application:
Mix 2 parts ACTFLEX 400 to 1 part water for roller/brush application
Apply first coat evenly using roller, brush or trowel
Allow to dry (minimum 4 hours between coats)
Apply 2–3 coats for best performance
For slip resistance, broadcast anti-slip additive into first coat
*Allow full cure before exposing to water
