Duromastic BLW

Water Based Bitumen Latex.

Duromastic BLW is a water-based, latex-modified waterproofing membrane designed to protect below-ground structures and garden areas. It forms a tough, flexible, seamless barrier that adheres strongly to concrete, blockwork, and brick surfaces, helping to prevent water ingress and long-term damage.

Areas of Use:
• Retaining walls and underground surfaces
• Planter boxes and garden beds
• Cellars, basements, and external walls
• Gutter and roof membrane repairs

Application & Coverage:
Apply by brush, roller, or spray in 2–3 coats on clean, dry surfaces. Reinforcing fabric is recommended for joints and corners. Typical coverage is 1.5–2.0L/m² depending on surface type. Duromastic BLW is self-priming on sound concrete; use an epoxy primer such as Duromix Hibuild WBE where rising damp is present. Protect from sunlight once cured.
