Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) Fibreglass

Chopped Strand Mat is a fibreglass reinforcement with a weight of 225 grams per square meter (225gsm) used with waterproofing resins to add structural strength, rigidity and crack resistance. The random glass fibre build gives excellent load support and helps prevent membrane splitting over joints, corners and movement areas. Ideal for trade waterproofing, tanking, pool shells and repairs where extra stability is required.

Areas of Use:
• Over movement joints in waterproofing systems
• Planter boxes & balconies
• Pools, tanks & reservoirs
• Wall + floor junction reinforcement
• Structural strengthening under resin membranes

Application:
Embed CSM directly into the wet first coat of compatible resin or membrane. Fully saturate fibres and then apply additional coats over the top. Build layers where extra thickness or structural reinforcement is needed.
